Trip Cancellation / Interruption Insurance
Great American Touring Group is pleased to offer our guests specialized insurance coverage from Travelex Insurance Services. They are a leading worldwide provider of quality travel protection and assistance services that help travelers safeguard themselves against unplanned occurrences.
Almost every year, at least one rider is forced to cancel a tour on short notice due to unforeseen or emergency circumstances. Per our Reservation Agreement, there are NO REFUNDS for cancelling your tour less than 30 days before departure. If you do not have the resources to absorb the loss of your entire Tour Fee (and airline tickets) because you cancel, PLEASE OBTAIN SOME TYPE OF TRIP INTERRRUPTION / CANCELLATION INSURANCE, either from our partners at Travelex or an agency of your choosing.
It's important to consider a number of questions now, before you leave on your trip:
* What if your trip is interrupted or delayed by unforeseen events?
* What if unforeseen business responsibilities force you to change plans?
* What if your baggage is lost in transit?
* What if you are in an accident or become ill and need medical assistance far from home?
* What if you have to cancel your trip? Will you lose the money you've invested?
* What if you have to be medically evacuated? How would you pay the cost of getting back home?

Rental Motorcycle Protection
All Motorcycle Rentals arranged by GAMCT for a Full-Service or Self-Guided Tour include Theft and Damage Waiver (VIP) and Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) as indicated in the table below. This cost of this protection is a significant expense (easily $30+ per day) for which most other tour companies charge additional. Consider this when comparing your tour options. If you need a quote for JUST renting a bike, these coverages are optional and will be quoted separately AND as a Total Package. You are free to decide what best meets your needs.

Accident or Injury
Your personal Health Insurance may provide coverage in the event of illness, accident or injury while traveling abroad. We recommend you consult with your own insurance advisor if you are uncertain as to what additional coverage, if any, you may decide to purchase. The Travelex plans we offer above include Medical Benefits of up to $75,000 and up to $2 Million for Medical Evacuation or (God Forbid!) Repatriation of Remains. See details by following the links.
